English Language Arts

Our English Language Arts program emphasizes reading comprehension, allowing students to analyze diverse literary texts critically. We focus on cultivating proficient writing skills across various genres—narrative, persuasive, and expository—equipping students to express their thoughts clearly and effectively. Grammar and mechanics receive dedicated attention, complemented by robust vocabulary development. Furthermore, our program enhances speaking and listening skills, preparing students to communicate confidently in any setting.

Mathematics

In our Math curriculum, we prioritize developing a strong number sense through engaging activities that focus on operations with rational numbers and fractions. Students will explore ratios and proportional relationships, dive into algebraic concepts with expressions and equations, and investigate geometric principles. We incorporate real-world applications of statistics and probability, helping students understand data and informed decision-making. Our aim is to nurture problem solvers who can think critically and confidently.

Science

The Science curriculum immerses students in the world of scientific inquiry. Our hands-on approach fosters experimentation and critical thinking skills. Students will delve into physical science, exploring the properties of matter and energy while learning about Earth's systems in Earth science. The study of life science focuses on cells and organisms, fostering a deeper understanding of biological processes. We also integrate environmental science concepts, preparing students to become informed and responsible stewards of the planet, complemented by an introduction to engineering and technology.

Social Studies

Our Social Studies curriculum provides students with a comprehensive understanding of U.S. and World history, emphasizing key events such as the Revolutionary War and Civil War. Geography units develop essential map skills and regional awareness, while civics and government discussions encourage critical thinking about citizenship and civic responsibilities. An introduction to economics helps students grasp basic principles and personal finance, preparing them for future financial literacy and responsibilities.

Physical Education

Physical Education focuses on fostering students' fitness and wellness through team sports, cooperative games, and individual activities. Our curriculum promotes health and nutrition education, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We instill personal and social responsibility, encouraging students to collaborate and respect one another on and off the field.

Art

Our Art curriculum empowers students to explore creativity through visual and performing arts. From drawing and painting to music and theater, students will engage in diverse artistic forms, enhancing their ability to express themselves. Art history and appreciation round out the curriculum, cultivating an understanding of the significance and impact of art throughout history.

Music

In our Music program, students will develop their musical skills through theory, literacy, and performance practices. The curriculum covers instrumental and vocal instruction, music history, and encourages creative composition. By integrating technology into music production, we provide students with contemporary skills relevant to today’s music industry.
