English Language Arts

Our English Language Arts curriculum focuses on developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

• Reading: Students will enhance their fluency and comprehension while exploring a diverse range of texts, including both fiction and nonfiction. They will learn to identify key details, main ideas, and make inferences, effectively analyzing characters and story elements.

• Writing: We provide opportunities for students to write narratives, informational texts, and opinion pieces. They will master grammar, punctuation, and spelling while learning to revise and edit their work for clarity and coherence.

• Speaking and Listening: This curriculum segment encourages active participation in discussions and presentations, fostering essential communication skills. Students will engage in meaningful conversations while expressing their ideas clearly and respecting discussion guidelines.

Mathematics

Our mathematics curriculum emphasizes a solid understanding of key concepts to develop problem-solving skills.

• Number and Operations: Students will delve into place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, while tackling real-world word problems. They will also explore fractions and decimals, sharpening their ability to recognize patterns and relationships.
